I want to start this morning with a slightly different inquiry.

An inquiry about crime and about who solves crime and about a Sky News investigation in Manchester into ordinary members of the public.

Are there any other what's a not, what's a non-ordinary member of the public?

Some of these phrases that we use without thinking,

they probably merit a little bit more scrutiny, don't they?

I'm an extraordinary, no.

Everyone is an extraordinary member of the public.

But I'm so frustrated are they with the failure to properly address

motorbike theft in particular

that they've decided to essentially

take the law into their own hands. How do we feel about that? And have you ever solved a crime?

But here's the story. Greater Manchester has been identified as a hotspot for scooter and motorbike theft.

I have to tell you, oddly, I know people in my neck of the woods who've had motorbikes and scooters stolen. The motorbikes presumably are stolen with a plan. Don't laugh, but remember I told you my Dutch cargo bike got nicked. There's no way that was opportunistic, because it had to be lifted into a van. It was immobilized. It was properly locked up, And you wouldn't have been able to, what's the
