We're recording this on 9-11, the 18th anniversary of 9-11.

And I was just thinking about, there were two things.

One was, I was thinking about, because I was living in New York at the time of 9-11.

I was thinking about all the, like, huge stories in the news, like, before that happened.

Because there was, like, the summer of, like, 2001 was, like, a time of, like,

in 1999 and 2000 was all, like, really piddly shit stuff.

Yeah.

Happening.

And I remember, like, the two biggest stories in New York, like, over that sort of timeline

where, uh, socialite Lizzie Grubman or Grubman

plowing her Mercedes SUV

through a bunch of people at a club in the Hamptons

and calling them white trash before driving off.

Yep.

Which, to be fair, is the story that that works in any era.
