There's a name that everybody in shooting knows is Jerry Mitchelick.

I know you're moving all over the place here because you move about as fast in your everyday life as you do when you're shooting.

Tell you what you've been up to recently.

Well, I've been real busy.

It's been an extremely busy competition year.

We had some classes this year in the fall, so I really haven't had a chance to slow down too much. And I came through the Smith & Wesson booth and was checking out all their products there, and I had to waste some of their ammo. So I had to stop a few minutes and burn it up.

Anytime you get to shoot somebody else's ammo, it's a good thing, right?

It was fun.

So tell me, what's your plans for this year for competition kind of where are you now wow it's it's so

busy that i'm actually scared to look at the calendar you're just going all the time there's so many

matches now and they're starting to overlap yeah there's one major competition, unfortunately, falling on top of two other major competitions.

So it's going to have to be a hard choice just on that one.

And there are just so many.

The three-gun matches and stuff right now are wide open.

The revolver matches.

There's really more competition available for shooters now than ever before.

That's quite true, and it's a lot of fun stuff out there.

You know, people think about shooting as target shooting, and they get bored with it,

but the action shooting, don't get me wrong, the target shooting,

I have great respect for these guys.

That's why I don't do it because I can't.
