I'm a filmmaker directing instructor in Los Angeles, California.

Hello, everyone.

My name is John Rook.

I'm a writer, producer, actor, and host here in San Diego, California.

I say actor because people don't know that I'm a sag actor, Steve, and right now we

are on strike.

It's our show, but I'm on strike in other places, just letting you know.

Well, I had this multi-million dollar deal.

I was going to offer you to star in, but I guess if you're on strike, I guess I'll just

have to put that away.

Well, we can talk about it off.

Before we, first of all, we have an incredible lineup of some of our shorts to share with

you, but before we do that, John, you have just come from a place that I have not gone

to in many years, but it's something real special.

And that is San Diego Comic Con.

How is it this year?

Yeah, I went for the first time today, which is Thursdays, we're recording this.

And I went for a few hours and walked the floor and got that Comic Con vibe and feeling.

And there were some nice things to see.

I took a couple of pictures of myself in front of certain things, certain displays.
