So I'm sure everybody saw the clip of like Trump last week saying he does not care at all whatsoever about any American's financial situation because Iran can never have a nuke. So funny to say that when the one thing you got elected on like actually was lowering costs. Yeah, yeah. Gets elected explicitly on affordability, like lowering egg prices, gets into office only lowers egg prices, raises the price of everything else. Like it's actually insane.

You go to the grocery store and eggs are back to normal, but everything else is so high. You go to the gas pump. It's already crazy bucks. Five dollars. It's like $5 around us. It's $450 nationwide. You go literally anywhere and you learn that gas price are actually very important to the price of everything. I digress. Trump doesn't care about that whatsoever, right? And you would think that after

him going on and in the press gaggle saying that, he would, I don't know, regret saying that. He would see that he's getting massive backlash online and he certainly wouldn't double down on it. Yeah. I did appreciate seeing the Republicans try to like cope and explain this behavior away. I saw one of them literally say like,

oh, I'm sure he doesn't mean that.

It's about one minute long and it's going to start with the original clip that happened on Tuesday. What extent are American financial determinations motivating you to make a deal? Not even a little bit. The only thing that matters that I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about American financial situation. I don't think about anybody. He thought it was going to go up to $200 a barrel and he's okay with that because in Trump's mind, everyone agrees that it's okay that we all, we all, except for him, undertake this short-term pain. Yeah. Nobody, I don't agree. Do you agree? No, I don't agree. and like nobody's explaining, especially not the president, how the short-term pain is going to lead to long-term gain.
