Summary

The same news is still happening: Iran war negotiations are fake, Trump is threatening genocide again (and admitting he doesn't care about our finances), gas prices are still high, and there is another Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire although fire has not ceased. Ka$h Patel stories keep hitting the timeline, this time it's about a “VIP snorkeling" trip at Pearl Harbor. Mallory McMorrow launched fake doctor allegations at Abdul El-Sayed, and Matt Walsh (Matt WASHED) is beefing with... Rosa Parks???

So I'm sure everybody saw the clip of like Trump last week saying he does not care at all whatsoever about any American's financial situation because Iran can never have a nuke. So funny to say that when the one thing you got elected on like actually was lowering costs. Yeah, yeah. Gets elected explicitly on affordability, like lowering egg prices, gets into office only lowers egg prices, raises the price of everything else. Like it's actually insane.

0:21.4

You go to the grocery store and eggs are back to normal, but everything else is so high. You go to the gas pump. It's already crazy bucks. Five dollars. It's like $5 around us. It's $450 nationwide. You go literally anywhere and you learn that gas price are actually very important to the price of everything. I digress. Trump doesn't care about that whatsoever, right? And you would think that after

him going on and in the press gaggle saying that, he would, I don't know, regret saying that. He would see that he's getting massive backlash online and he certainly wouldn't double down on it. Yeah. I did appreciate seeing the Republicans try to like cope and explain this behavior away. I saw one of them literally say like,

0:54.0

oh, I'm sure he doesn't mean that.

0:54.9

Yep.

0:55.2

Well, he said that.

0:56.8

Did, J.D. V saw one of them literally say like, oh, I'm sure he doesn't mean that.

0:55.0

Yep.

0:55.2

Well, you said that.

0:56.8

Didn't J.D. Vance went out and he's like,

0:58.3

Trump didn't say that.

1:09.8

It's right there. Awesome. It's right there. It's on camera. But I digress. I wouldn't be talking about this today if it was just that, though. Yeah. As insane as that statement is from the president of the United States that he does not give a shit about us.

2:35.1

I wouldn't be talking to it about it if he didn't double down on it in an interview days later with Brett Baer. And I want to play you with this clip from the Brett Baer interview. It's about one minute long and it's going to start with the original clip that happened on Tuesday. What extent are American financial determinations motivating you to make a deal? Not even a little bit. The only thing that matters that I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about American financial situation. I don't think about anybody. You could not let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That's all. That's right. That's a perfect statement I'd make it again. That's a perfect statement. How many people stop the soundbite at. What do you do? I don't think about America. But they're trying to save him. What's your response to that framework? It's very simple. When people hear me say it, everybody agrees. Short-term pain, it's going to be short-term pain. But the pain is much less than people thought. Oh, my God. Guys, I do not agree. The oil would go up to $250. You know, it was $99 yesterday, $99 a barrel. I thought it might go up to $200. I was okay with that. And he was okay with that. He thought it was going to go up to $200 a barrel and he's okay with that because in Trump's mind, everyone agrees that it's okay that we all, we all, except for him, undertake this short-term pain. Yeah. Nobody, I don't agree. Do you agree? No, I don't agree. and like nobody's explaining, especially not the president, how the short-term pain is going to lead to long-term gain.

2:37.1

Right now it's short-term pain for long-term pain.

2:52.2

It's just short-term pain for long-term pain it's just short-term pain for pain for pain's sake right now because i don't i don't see how any of this is going to manifest in long-term pain and he goes on like a like about a minute later in this interview to say like oh yeah you can't let these maniacs and ron have a nuclear weapon i don't know, man. It didn't seem like it was happening anyway. Maybe you should have stayed in the JCPOA.

2:53.6

Like maybe you should have done all these things.

2:54.9

Maybe we shouldn't just be bombing the shit on them.

3:03.2

Maybe we shouldn't be doing things that make them think, damn, I need a nuclear weapon. We really did let the neocons get away with doing the weapons of mass destruction thing again. Yeah. early.

3:03.5

Like we,

3:05.0

we just let them get away with that bullshit.

3:05.8

That sucks. You got to be,

3:06.7

you got to be a careful about not over learning the world,
