And one of the things we've done is taking 15, 18 handicapped players, even sixes and eights, with one of our top assistant pros, who's a scratch guy.

I mean, he's a good player. And we've let them play nine holes, and they get to play Joe's drive and see what they shoot. The next nine hole, Joe plays their ball in after they get it inside nine-iron range, which for Joe is about 140. What we find is they usually drop their score by one shot, if any, on the nine holes they got to play his drive. But on the nine holes that he played their ball in from nine-iron range in, he usually beats them by five to nine shots. So where do you think you should spend your practice time? If you get better inside nine-iron range, when you put a nine-hound less in your hand, I don't care what your handicap is. Your next shot should be a

birdie putt. Now if you're a 12 or 1518 handicapper, I mean give yourself 30 35 feet 25 feet.

If you're a low single digit, you ought to be hitting those shots on the average 1518 feet

from the hole. But you ought to be knocking the flag down every once in while with those two and

three and five foot birdies.
