Rachel and Drew Harding, owners of the Spokane Alpine House.

Now, the last time we talked to Rachel and Drew, it was actually episode 160 of this

Gear 30 podcast. We talked a lot about their very, very interesting and compelling leasing program

that they run out of the Spokane House, and we'll include a link in the show notes of this

episode in case you missed that

conversation the first time around.

But today, we are talking a bit about this past winter season.

It was an extremely busy one for the Alpine House.

We talk about skiing with kids and not skiing with kids.

Rachel has thoughts and some tips and strategies maybe on that front.

Moving on quickly, we also talk about a category of gear that I might know the absolute

least about when it comes to sort of snow sports

equipment and that would be heated socks. I don't think we've ever talked about heated socks

on gear 30 and fortunately Drew knows this category pretty well and so it basically became a one-on-one consulting session,

you know, for me with Drew. So that's a bit of what we have in store for you here in this

conversation. And so let's go ahead and talk with Rachel and Drew. Here we go.
