And today we continue our offseason conversation, just the first talks about how do you build

around Luca, how do they look to build the team both this year and beyond?

And yesterday we talked about the search for a second star.

And one of the things I was left with from that conversation, Dee, was the idea of patience

and understanding that you want to go after the right player in that slot.

And if not, you got to have the ability to say, you know, we're going to wait throughout this transaction cycle, then that player might not be available. Now, with the whispers of Janus, he's the one guy that's like, obviously, you go after him with everything you can if you can get him. But I think there's a low likelihood of that happening. But I do very much think the Lakers will do that. And you asked me a question that I sort of left

hanging. I didn't really answer you directly of, you know, how much do I dip below that certain

how much do I have a willingness if the player makes a little bit less to have, say, two high-end

number threes instead of a legit number two. It's always going to depend to me, D, on the specific player or not, but by and large,

I actually think you need to hold the line on that second star.

It doesn't have to necessarily be a Janus level player.

That's one of the very best players in the game.
