It is not Chamberlain's fault.

Here's why I say that because there are P.O.V. shots from Chamberlain's perspective

when he's under this bridge.

It's the director's fault. director went for this he told him act

insane and I'm gonna get this shot of you looking up at the bridge while you're

spinning around and slapping your ass cheeks I yeah It doesn't make any sense, man.

And this part two of our discussion, we've now seen the first half of this tale, this particular telling of it, Iran, what did you think of the second episode?

I know we both kind of had pretty, you know, glowing opinions generally of this 1980 adaptation of the novel.

Yeah, how about now? Had a lot of kind comments about how they were handling things

and the acting and the writing and everything with the

costuming and the set and music yeah and the music oh Jesus and it doesn't get any

better about to talk about that yeah yeah. This is where, honestly, this was a very bewildering experience for me.

And I can't, like, this is where the wheels start to fall off on not giving any Japanese people interiority because...

Oh yeah.

And it seems like there's a couple of differences between the 80 series and the 24 series, the FX series.

And it seems like a lot of these deviations are the 80s is

maybe more accurate to the book from scene to scene.

But I don't know if I agree with all those adaptation choices.

And the other thing where the 24 and 80 difference is it seems like when the 1980s didn't have the budget to pull off
