I was also really impressed with how much they got away with in this show. Like I just took

it for granted we would never see someone beheaded. Like it would always be like a cut to

the side and maybe some splash on the ground. Huh, fuck, no.

We see someone full beheaded, the boiling scenes.

Yeah, and the one thing they won't show is the

suppucco which is interesting.

They just showed the guy's face what he's doing it.

Yeah, so we're here to talk about the 1980 mini series

after having just watched the 2024 limited series, maybe that's the distinction there,

one's a mini series, one is a limited series. I don't know where to start with this.

I kind of just want to get your general impressions before we go into specifics though.

Like overall, I will say we've only seen part one. I haven't I haven't seen parts two three and four of which you know you may have a differing

order of events here it's it's hard to know what is the official version of this

because it's been chopped and screwed so many times over the years.
