a team of researchers in China claims to have created an artificial tongue.

And for some reason, a guy named Jose has already pre-ordered four of them.

I literally.

That's just in case his falls out.

He just needs to back up. Okay. Why do you do that all the time? That's what the news is reporting right now. And I trust all news. Really, they're developing them so it can quickly detect spice levels in food. Oh, yeah. Oh, excellent. No, I just don't eat anything that might be spicy.

Well, now you can have your tongue tested for you. Okay.

Like, if you're at a Thai restaurant and they ask you, do you want one to five stars, you say,

I'm going to let my second tongue choose this for me.

Okay.

Actually, go back and get me a three star.

You're going to send them back? Yeah, what? So the tongue makes you pretentious as well. Yeah, everybody needs a little bit of that. But I don't know if that's exactly what they're going to be using them for. But I can tell you it should be able to detect specific heat levels of certain peppers without you having to taste it yourself.

Well, that is actually, if you're messing with real peppers, like Carolina Reapers and stuff.
