regular episode where I asked her the question of like, does she see growing up in an alcoholic

or addicted family being different than other forms of complex trauma that we endure and just asking about

this, the similarities and the differences that we have, depending upon the breed of dysfunction

that we may have experienced. So I decided to take a dive into the adult child vault and go through the first 100 shit show Saturday episodes.

And I've picked six individuals, each one showing a different face of family dysfunction that can lead to becoming an adult child.

This can look so many different ways from subtle to overt.

And yeah, I just thought it might be interesting today for us to explore that.

So you know, you'll get some emotional neglect and invalidation.

So she lived through the Second World War.

I've heard stories of my grandmother being caught in the woods while they're hiding from the military.

I forget if there was a Russian or the German army, but they caught her in the woods and

she had just given birth to one of her kids. She gave birth to six kids, but only three of them.
