Hello, everyone. I want to be sure to take a few moments to encourage everyone to allow themselves some good self-care

and to be able to take a break during the holiday season and as we lead into the new year.

No matter your religious background or no religion at all or your family situation, these next few weeks

can be very stressful. And that is true, actually, for everyone for a variety of reasons.

And I want to make sure that we all collectively take a step back and that you give yourself

that break whenever possible in whatever ways you can.

So to follow my own advice, my team and I are going to be taking a short break to

rejuvenate ourselves and to make plans for all of the

amazing shows that we have coming up for you in the new year that we're very excited about.

special guest, Sochiel Martin. She is a Mexican-American born and raised in the religious

high-control group La Luz del Mundo.

She was groomed from a young age to be a concubine for the leader of the organization,

becoming a slave to the leader and the leadership.

After escaping at 30 years old, Suchill, with the help of her husband Martin and family,

began seeking justice and founded the With You Foundation in 2020.

The foundation works to change legislation to help survivors of human trafficking in high-control groups.

Sochiel, now 37 and happily married, is dedicated to helping others break free from similar

situations through prevention, justice, and healing.

Sochial will be hosting a rally for survivors

at the Mexican consulate in San Diego, California,

this Friday, March 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
