The Luke's Gospel Chapter 2. You can turn there and want to make a couple of comments about Bethlehem, which we're seeing over here in the background.

Very interesting. You know how we talk about that the name is the nature, that there's a meaning behind the name.

Well, Beit Laham just so happens to be in the Hebrew and my native tongue of Arabic the same thing.

And the name really says at all.

Bait, of course, is house of.

So Bait Saida, Bait Tazda in the Hebrew, Bait Laham, Bethlehem, Bait, Bait Saida, Beitazda in the Hebrew, Beit Laham, Bethlehem.

Beit Laham in Hebrew means house of bread.

Laham is bread in Hebrew.

And get this, in Arabic, leham is meat.

Connect those dots.

The house of bread.

The house of meat.

A type, really a picture of the Word of God.

Well, this location is where the angel of the Lord brings good news to the shepherds.

And we have the account of it in Luke's Gospel chapter 2.

I'll read verses 1 through 12.

Says, in those days, Caesar Augustus issued a decree

that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.
