Well, I'm here in my kitchen alone with now a cup of tea and all is calm.

Calm before what I hope will be a festive storm of the warmest kind because I'm expecting some special guests, friends, some old, some new, to

share here a Christmas feast to celebrate the flavors, the dishes, and the drinks that make them feel festive.

This year Christmas has kind of crept up on me so before all my feasting guests arrive

So, freaking great this Clementine.

Actually, it's a big orange, isn't it?

Suddenly, this kitchen smells of Christmas.

It does, yeah, that's citrus. And then a bit of Christmas. It does, yeah, the citrus. And then a bit of lemon. This is my take on brandy butter. The usual, the sugar, the citrus, the brandy. But that little bit of vanilla, which I think softens the whole thing you know sometimes
