Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book. Some people who are not Christians

are offended at the fact that we talk so much about blood.

To them it seems crude and strange. But the blood of Jesus is at the center of everything

that we believe about salvation. Today we are going to be talking about the blood as we look at a

statement that the Apostle Paul made to the church leaders almost 2,000 years ago.

This statement is found in Acts chapter 20, verse 28.

With our study, here now is Pastor John.

Take heed, therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock

over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers to feed the

church of God which he has purchased with his own blood. Again, take heed to feed the church of God

which he has purchased with his own blood.

Those of us teaching the Bible are often accused of preaching a bloody religion.

To such an accusation, I proudly plead guilty. For you see,
