Bert Show, I'm 28 years old and I have thankfully never dealt with any type of body image issues.

I've never had any kind of weight concerns.

I'm healthy and active.

That said, I am not quote unquote thin in the way that society seems to value.

And that's okay.

I don't have to be.

I'm proud of my body and not in the least bit ashamed of it at all.

I have never been and I can't imagine I ever will be.

There are so many other things to worry and think about in life.

And despite the fact though that I am perfectly comfortable in my own body, it seems that society

and friends, family and co-workers don't want me to be.
