So what does it mean if you're training about the X-man?

You wanted to be done with it, you're in a relationship now, everything's great, yet he or she just keeps popping up in your dreams.

Doesn't mean anything?

Dear virtue, I need some advice or at least to know that what I'm going through is normal.

Recently, I've been having frequent dreams about my X.

He was my first love, my first everything.

Basically, we met in high school and ended up going to college together.

At the end of our sophomore year, I made a bad decision.

I broke up with him.

Our relationship started on unstable grounds and I just always felt like I was not good enough for him.

I was very immature and so insecure back then and decided that his life would be better without me.

We went back and forth for a little while, but then he was very adamant that he could never speak to me again and I only did that request.

To decision, I highly regret it, but I've accepted it and come to terms with it, or at least that's what I thought.

Now, 10 years later, I'm dreaming about him.

A lot.

I should say that I've been in an amazing relationship with someone else for almost 7 years.

I love him very much.

He is my best friend.

I couldn't imagine where I would be without him.

So these dreams are very jarring and are beginning to affect my emotions.

Has anyone else had this experience while in a stable, loving relationship?
