Summary
It began with what seemed like an ordinary move — two single mothers, five kids, a cheerful four-bedroom home. But the first night the peace shattered: a crash in the dark, kitchen utensils flung against the wall, four chairs arranged in a perfect circle around a mop bucket standing upright in the center of the table — as if unseen hands had held a midnight meeting.
Soon came stranger paranormal activity: garland wound tight around the staircase was painstakingly unwound and hurled across the floor overnight; a Christmas tree kept toppling no matter how they anchored it; a ceiling bubble swelled with water and burst in front of witnesses only to vanish without a trace by morning.
Most chilling of all was the lamp in the youngest child’s room that clicked OFF by itself — the knob audibly turning — while he whispered that his closet was “wrong.” When the family moved to a new house, the phenomena came with them: phantom phone rings, faint sweeping sounds at 2 A.M., and that same dreadful sense of being watched.
It seems sometimes the haunting chooses the family.
