The Fertia Family is complicated.

Abby was going into the weekend and she was going to see some family.

She's been estranged from, with no fault of your own, right?

This is kind of passed down from generation to generation but you're going to see

them for the first time at a very long time yeah if you've ever been in this

situation you know it is just the most dread-inducing it type of situation to know

that you are going to be trapped in a 30 by 30 room with people who you wouldn't normally speak to because they don't really want to speak to you and you have no choice but to have to engage in a conversation with them because you know you're

there celebrating your grandparents 70th anniversary party and it's gonna

look a little weird to the rest of the group if the two families are

sitting on either side of the walls not making

eye contact with each other. It's a little awkward. Is this a, um, is this tension

between literally two sides of the family or is it just a member here and a

member there? I'll try and be as vague as possible. It was a it was an altercation

that happened between three family members, two of them were on the other side of the family and then somebody on my

side of the family. And then that spread to another person on my side of the family so now it's four people and then

I'll just okay I'll just be honest is my dad having a fight with somebody on

that side of the family having to do with somebody else that is related to that

person and then my mom got involved so of course that made things even more

tense and now me my brother are kind of stuck in the middle of it my

grandparents are stuck in the middle of it everybody on that side of the family is stuck in the middle of it. Everybody on that side of the family is stuck in the

middle of it. Everyone kind of has loyalty to everyone's side and so it's just it's like

this cold war that nobody's really addressing. So we show up to this nursing home,
