Cassie was fine with it.

And you know, horrifying is a strong word, but I think for a lot of women especially women my age

millennials if you explain to them they'd be doing this the visceral reaction would be

like hell no no not gonna do it and when you find out what it is, you're like,

that's it, but if you really dive deep into, I think,

how you live your life and what you feel about yourself,

I think a lot of people would be in this situation where I went to the beach

this past week with my family. We've been planning the trip since February. It was with my parents. My mom recently

got diagnosed again with stage 4 breast cancer.

So it was a really important beach trip for us to take as a family.

My sister was there, my kids were there, my husband was there.

And it was really nice to spend quality time together and that was the focus of the trip was really like spending time with family.

So I had bought a bathing suit a while back that I wore when I was feeling bold last year when I looked a little

different you might not notice it but I did and because I don't have access to my

bathing suits and my closet right now because a tree fell on my

house and I'm not supposed to go in my house. Somehow this one was in my car and I was able to

snack it out so I still had to sue for the beach because I also refused to buy anything else. I'm cheap and at my

size bathing suits are expensive. I mean we're talking like a hundred plus bucks per

suit I guess because it's a lot of fabric or they just have a hold over the market of plus-size women and they know they can charge them.

So I wore this hot pink bikini to the beach last year and I was like feeling great and feeling saucy

and it's one of two suits I had to bring this year and the other suit was
