I am proud to say that I leveled up in a friendship over the weekend.

Okay.

So you can level up in relationships.

And I also think you can level up in friendships where you just like something happens.

You share a moment that just takes it to the next level.

And I'm proud to say that happened to me this past weekend. So there we were

in the kitchen of the lakehouse we were renting. Okay. Bert and Bart were outside with the boys,

my four-year-old Jimmy, his girlfriend Amanda's four-year-old Asa, and they're having the best time.

You can hear the laughter just wafting through the air, coming into the house.

And Amanda and I are in the kitchen doing what women folk do, putting casseroles together, making carrot dip and whatnot.

And, you know, it was midday.

The sun was starting to set and the lake was getting that nice, that golden hour on it.

Just a beautiful time of day.

And so, you know, we had been swimming in the pool and there we are in our...

I have an inkling.

There we are in the kitchen.

Oh, I know what you're going to say.

There we are in the kitchen and our bathing suits and our coverups and just, you know, working.

And we got some tunes playing on the TV and some classic rock is also wafting through the house.
