Who got rejected from a job because they found out the recommendation letter wasn't real?

Yeah, I'm going to tell you a story that off the bat, when you hear it, you're like, duh, of course they did.

But I actually think she should not have been fired from this job.

So I have a friend whose daughter applied for a very prestigious internship.

And she asked a former professor to write her a recommendation.

And they did.

And it was glowing.

She is a fantastic student.

Like cream of the crop, you would be lucky to hire her.

Okay?

So she applied.

She got this internship.

And then I don't know what it was, but one of the hiring managers just took a look at that

recommendation letter and was like something seems off so they ran it through an AI check like you can do

for like college papers and stuff to see if AI wrote it and it came back as being written by

AI and so they were like listen this is not a real recommendation letter. I'm sorry,

we cannot take this into account when hiring you. It is false. It is a lie. You can no longer

have this internship. And she got like, oh, but the thing is she didn't falsify the recommendation

letter. The professor who wrote it used AI to write the recommendation letter. And so it comes down to the fact

that everything in the recommendation letter, she talked to a professor and he's like, it's all
