The virtue Amber here needs some help. She ghosted a dude a while ago.

Abby, how do you feel about ghosting? Because I have a very strong stance on this lately.

I've been ghosted before and I still hold those grudges. A guy dated for like three months

ghosted me. He like stood me up and then went totally in my eye. Still not over it clearly.

Uh, because I feel like anything is better than just keeping it open like that. I mean,

in that we've made it so easy to date now and so easy to reject somebody. You don't

have to call them anymore. All you have to do is spend three seconds on a text saying,

hey, I'm just not feeling it. Thank you for last night over. Over. There should be no

ghosting. Um, however, Amber here who's on the phone did and wants to circle back with

the dude that she ghosted. She had a pretty decent reason for ghosting though. All right.

Hey, Amber. Hi guy. Here's your voice. Yeah, tail between the legs. I'm what's going

on. Well, so like you guys mentioned, I did date a guy maybe about a year and a half ago.

Maybe a little more than that. And I am not the ghosting type, but I was very, very embarrassed.

I was actually having a family situation that I could not really tell him about. And I just,

yeah, I just I couldn't, I couldn't get myself to speak with him. I just, I couldn't because

we went on a few dates and it was great. And he was actually a really nice guy. I really

liked him a lot. And then this came up and I was just like, he just, he deserves better

than this. So I stopped. All right. Let me stop pausing right here because Kristen made

the excuse for you. Like, hey, she had a good reason for ghosting this time. That's still

not a good reason. So you say the dude, hey, I just want to let you know this is not an excuse.

I'm just going through like a lot of personal stuff right now with my family. I just can't

focus on dating. Don't that's it. That easy. It's better than ghosting. I feel very strongly
