Summary

Army veteran and young mother Caleigha Zangari survived Afghanistan, sexual trauma, and life under a sex trafficker, but in August 2024, one encounter on Dallas’s infamous “blade” would end in her disappearance. Eight days later, Caleigha’s body was found in rural East Texas.  Dig in with Margot as she takes you step by step through the work of a multi-agency investigation that unraveled a chilling trail of digital breadcrumbs, surveillance footage, and desperate attempts to cover up a brutal crime. The episode culminates in a federal verdict against truck driver Naasson Hazzard. If you or someone you know may be a trafficking victim, you can call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. You can also text “BeFree”(233733) for help.
