0:40.3	thank you. It's a treat to be here. Congratulations on the book. It is fun and it's jaw-dropping
0:47.9	in some parts. And as I was reading it, I thought, you know, this really should be
0:53.3	required reading for every young woman today because you had some tough times and you struggled through them and you made it out to the other side.
1:02.9	I did. I made it out to the other side. It's very well put. Thank you.
1:07.5	So why did you decide to write the book? Well, to be very honest with you, I was called into a meeting at CBS. I was just ending a series and CBS called me in. And when I walked in, the president of CBS said, welcome home, Sharon. I thought, this is so cool. They're going to offer me another series.
1:30.5	And I was there for an hour. And at the end of the hour, and I tried to give them stories just to sort of keep it, you know, going. And at the end of the hour, the Nina Tassler, who's the president of CBS at the time, said, Sharon, you know we own Simon and Schuster.
1:45.8	I said, no, Nina, I didn't know that.
1:48.4	And she said, well, we do.
1:50.0	And I think you have a book in.
1:52.1	I said, Nina, I'm not a writer.
1:55.0	She said, but you're a storyteller.
1:58.1	And so I said, well, okay.
2:00.7	And the next day, the president of Simon and Schuster called me.
2:05.1	And but when my series ended, I wasn't so busy.
2:08.0	So next time I was in New York, I went to meet him and I read him a chapter that I'd
2:13.2	written, just as, you know, example chapter.
