Hi, this is Bonnie and Jay and Gay, and we are here breaking our hiatus because we have a sad

announcement.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, our dear sister Chris lost her husband, Doug, two complications.

And so we just wanted to come on and let you,

our listeners, know, because as much as we care about Chris, we also know that you care about Chris.

And so we wanted to pass along this information, along with a couple of other items. I'm going to let Gay tell you about how you

can help, Chris. Yeah. So needless to say, this is a terrible shock for Chris and her family,

and it's also a financial shock. Her husband had been out of work for a little while because

of some medical things, and he had a surgery

and his passing is related to that surgery. And of course, Chris's income is tied into her

marriage ministry. So this is a very difficult time for her financially. And the Christian

marriage bloggers association, of which she's a member and has also

been a board member has started a GoFundMe to raise some funds to help her out in the short

term with expenses that she has now. So we will have a link to that in our show notes. I know that, you know, a number of other

Christian marriage vloggers and podcasters have supported her and some of her readers. And so we just

wanted to make our listeners aware of that so that if you would like to and are able to support Chris,

And may I add that the amount is not as important as just participation, so whether you can donate large or small, every bit is welcome and help her out.
