This is episode 158 of paranormal stories.

This episode I'm reading from Susan Amstern's book, NDE's Unveiled,

and inside us lurk into the mysteries of near-death experiences. When I have guests on my podcasts, I read their books to work out

questions for the episodes. When reading these books, I always find such amazing information

that never makes it into the podcast, and here I get a chance to give you a peek into the book.

I've put a link to the book in the show notes, and I did seek permission to record this

extract, and the author kindly said yes.

I thought I would read from a section in the book that is about shared death experiences,

and so this is what Susan has written.

Julie Levine, the volunteer, shared death experiences. And so this is what Susan has written. Julie Levine, the volunteer, shared death experience. Julie Levine died in a car crash with Robin and the two close friends began the

journey into the afterlife together. Julie didn't see Robin but felt her energy and love, and in fact, Julie felt nothing

but love.

As peaceful as being in a womb, she says.

A spiritual being met them and communicated the thought that one of them must return.

Julie hoped it would be her, but she started feeling guilty because her friend was younger and presumably

had more to live for. There was no judgment against her for thinking that, and later in life,

Julie came to believe that maybe Robin got the better end of the deal, because her friend remained

in that wonderful place. Either way, by volunteering to return, Julie made

sure Robin didn't have to make that choice. Most people who have not experienced an NDE or a spiritually

transformative experience would say that returning to life on Earth is the better end of the deal.

Julie, though, is thankful that she didn't have the chance to reflect before making her decision
