I'm Courtney Copeland, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland's granddaughter, and today I am joined by Professor

Greg Stevens, and we have been spending all week talking about generations.

Yes.

Now, I want to start this episode off by calling out my generation

on something. And you're probably not going to love this, all of you. But I am really annoyed

with my generation and how we have become the generation that feels like we don't need church.

We love God, we love Jesus, but I don't need to go to church.

Church is, you know, my pastor is not responsible for my relationship with the Lord.

That's between me and the Lord.

Now, I know that there's been a lot of church wounds that could maybe have led someone to in their now in their 30s you know the church

hurt them my dad did such a good job of teaching me that the church is made of people god is perfect

but the church is made of people and people suck and they're going hurt you. If you want to go to a perfect church,

it'll be empty. Exactly. And in addition to that, people will say, God, use me, use me. And then the church

will call you to use you. And then two years later, like, I was so used by the church. You know,

the church used me. And it's like,

well, it's literally what you prayed for, to be used by God, you know? And so I just want to kind of

address the generation that feels like they don't need God. You know, that was the generation

that led to Noah and the ark. And so I just want to, and I'm not saying that all millennials in Gen Z are that

way. We talked about on Monday that there's actually a spike in Bible purchases. And it's predominantly

because of the Gen Z generation is interested in spirituality. They want to find out more about
