Hey everybody. This is Rob Lafeld. Welcome to another edition of Rob Observations. We are all up into

the comic books, into the comic book movies, the comic book shows, the comic book cartoons,

the comic book toys. That's what we do. As so much of it has shaped the culture and

blown my mind, I am drawn to my youth and I carry

so many of my observations from my seven-year-old self all the way to now as the world has

drastically changed. I love discussing all of this with you. And boy, do we have some stuff to talk

about. This last weekend, this frame of time, saw the release of a brand new Marvel comics film.

And it, you know, it has been a year of a lot of Marvel, not a lot of Marvel stuff, a lot of comic book stuff.

I mean, we've gotten, if memory serves, we started off with the extended Zach Snyder Justice League Snyder cut, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I did an entire podcast on it.

I have watched it again since.

I loved it.

I loved the grandeur.

I love the sweep of the entire story.

I love how much bigger it got and can't believe how trimmed it was

in the in the Joss Whedon version. I still am blown away that there was that much. And in truth,

you know, Zach was not dispatched to do that much more shooting. He just literally was to be taken at his word

that he had all of that insane footage and uh i'm glad that the movement worked that warner

brothers for whatever reason for whatever financial reasons decided to pull the trigger

and that for me uh i think that was in March.

It was, you know, late winter that we got that epic release.

I dug it.
