Hey everybody, this is Rob Leifeld. Welcome to another edition of Rob Observations. If it's a comic

book or a comic book thing, we can just make it that simple, a comic book thing. A thing could be a

cartoon, a TV show, now called streaming, movies, films, games.

We generally get around to it.

We poke around to it on this show.

My obsession is comic books and comic book things.

And it's always been that way.

And so that's what we do.

We talk about how comic books has really impacted the culture. And I tell you this as I am surrounded by shelves

of comic books and comic graphic novels and giant oversized art editions and I am looking

right at a Batman statue and a Batman Beyond maquette and Deadpool action figure with

dogpool on the back of his scooter.

I have a Deadpool bank to my right.

I've got a lot of cool stuff.

Comic books just tickle me.

Makes me make me happy.

And that's why we discuss them each and every week glad you're here with us today

it's going to be a little somber somber uh today as we are going to discuss for the greater part

of this episode we are going to reflect on 9-11 and its impact in comic books, really more than anything, comic books more so than the

greater aspects of pop culture. I mean, for myself, you know, I just can't believe it's been

20 years since 9-11. And we all know all of us who are alive, who were cognizant, who were aware,

remember very clearly how that entire day and the days following played out.
