Thank you. Well, howdy? This is Timothy Ateague, director of breakaway ministries, and I'm so excited to give you really our first update from giving for our 2018 Shalom project. This past Tuesday night in Readerina, we opened up

giving for the general public. But before we did that, the breakway staff and volunteers came

together the entire week before. And we just said, you know what, before we ask our people to give,

we want to, we want to step out and we just said you know what before we ask our people to give we want to we want to

step out and we want to lead from the front and so I'm so excited to tell you that just the breakaway

staff and volunteers combined raised 17,788 and 88 cents which is enough to bring three and a half kids home, which is just incredible.

Well, the good news is we opened up giving to the general public.

And after one night of giving, our total is at over $26,000, which is just amazing for our first week of giving.

We're so excited about how God is stirring people's hearts to be a part of what he's doing

as we visit the orphan in his or her distress.

We want to invite you into that, and we just want to to say please come be a part of what god is doing

jump in with us and let's let's do something big together and i want you to know that even beyond giving

we have other ways that you can be a blessing to the families and to the children that will be adopted through this year's

Shalom Project.

We, in Readerina, on Tuesday nights, we have an interaction station where students have the

opportunity to write notes to the families that will be adopting.

Well, we want to give you that opportunity as well.

So if you want to write a letter to one of the

families that is going to receive one of these adoption aid grants through Show Hope, then you can

simply write that letter and you can mail it into the breakaway office. You can find the address

on our website. And we would love to include your letter and give it to a family that's
