Summary

In this episode of Shalom Season, Jess sits down with her husband, Nick Connolly, to talk about anxiety. Especially when it shows up physically, not just mentally. Nick shares about his recent battle with anxiety, how it differed from past experiences, and what it looked like to pursue peace in the middle of it.

Together, they explore the tension between caring for your health and becoming consumed by it, the role of community and prayer, and the shift from striving to receive God’s love. This conversation is a reminder that even when your body feels overwhelmed, true biblical peace, shalom, is still possible.

1:09.1

You look so handsome today. I feel like we're way more dressed than we normally are for a podcast. You are, you look cute. The last time we recorded a podcast, I think our chairs were smushed together and we were basically sitting in each other's laps. We definitely were. Yeah. And you probably didn't get that in the audio. Nope. Nope. We won't do that for the video today. Hey, thanks for being on the

And so anyway, it's a good little, good little heart day. Now I'm here with you. Let me touch your hands because, you know, this is my my lip test of how you're doing. Oh, your hands feel great.
