Dove says

Hi Nick, I don't usually share this story with others,

but your podcast inspired me to finally do so.

I live in West Virginia, so talk of Bigfoot comes up fairly often.

I have been asked, do you believe he's real?

And while I do believe in Bigfoot, my theory isn't exactly the common one.

You see, when people think of a Sasquatch, their minds tend to go directly to animal.

But what if Bigfoot isn't an animal at all? What if he is entirely supernatural?

Paranormal? or even demonic.

I was about 10 years old spending the night at my aunt's house.

It was well after midnight, and I was exhausted after a long day of playing with my cousins, so I was beyond ready to bed down for the night.

The grown-ups, my parents included, were all still gathered around the kitchen table playing a game of cards.

Being in a house other than my own,

I was waiting for my mother to retire for the night,

so we could go to sleep.

You see, the bedrooms were on the opposite end of the house as the kitchen,

and it was this end of the house that always

gave me an uneasy feeling. It was to the point that I wouldn't even go to the bathroom without

someone walking me through that eerie hallway. So of course I was waiting on my mom no matter how long that card game lasted.

I finally grew tired enough that I decided to go to bed alone.
