Creepy House and sleep creatures.

Chris says,

Dear Nick, I really enjoy your podcast.

I've been listening for about a year

and dipping into your extensive back catalog.

I also appreciate that you keep it clean so I can listen to it with my sons, their fans as well.

I grew up in a farmhouse in Eastern Kentucky. I lived there from the late 80s all the way up to the early 2000s.

My family, my mother, stepfather, and my younger half-sister moved there when I was five years old.

Shortly after, my half-brother was born.

Judging by its architecture and decor, I would be

be putting it mildly.

I dreaded every long mostly sleepless night.

When I was probably around seven or eight, I remember hearing the sound of slow heavy breathing in my room late one night.

It sounded like it was coming from the narrow space between the sight of my bed and the wall.

I laid very still frozen with terror until I finally

managed to drift off to sleep. Now maybe this was just weird acoustics and the sound of

one of my family members sleeping in a nearby room, but I never

heard it except on that one specific night.
