But he was just CJ Tuss though, he was my first cousin, he was killed while in the line

of duty on July 19, 2022. He leaves behind a wife, my cousin Jennifer and two young children

Emily and Connor and a destroyed family and community.

So as far as it's going to be to do so, my goal for this podcast today is to honor him and

I would appreciate it if you guys would stick around with me as I try and do that. So as

I mentioned from the very top, he was killed while in the line of duty. So this was last

week, again, this was on July the 19th, last week. And I was doing something I don't normally

do during the day, which was scrolling through Facebook and we have a little family Facebook

group to so that we can all kind of keep in touch with, you know, things that are going

on with the family. And I see that one of my cousins, my first cousin who is, you know,

a sister to my other cousin, Jennifer, she posted in there that, hey, CJ's been involved

in an accident. He's a motorcycle cop in Edman, Oklahoma. Had he been involved in an accident

and, you know, please pray for him. And he had been in accidents before, you know, he

ran into the back of a vehicle guy that kind of beat up and kind of hurt. And so my initial

reaction was, you know, he had maybe had to lay his bike down, you know, maybe got some

road rash, but, you know, aside from that, not, not a whole lot. Um, but she said that

one of the local news stations was, was covering what, what had happened. And I went to the

news story and I saw the wreckage and I saw that his motorcycle was basically unrecognizable

unless you, you know, know what the, the rear fender and wheel look like of a Harley Davidson,
