0:24.9	All right, guys. They've got a special guest on the podcast. Her name is Leah Savas. And so she
0:29.1	is a reporter for world. And she's also the co-author of a new book with Marvin Alaska. He called
0:34.5	the story of abortion in America, a street level history 1652 to 2022. And so if I go back to
0:41.7	whenever I was pitched this book, as I get pitched a lot of books, I mean, this year I've literally
0:45.9	said no to probably 20 interview chances for every one that I take on that's just kind of how
0:50.5	this this year has, you know, worked out. But whenever I got this one, it was like, okay,
0:55.0	I've read books about abortion. I've read books about how abortion is wrong based on the Bible
0:59.4	and Christianity. I've read, you know, books about how you can argue against abortion, but not a book
1:03.3	that would detail the history of abortion. And when I read the description, I was like, okay,
1:08.0	street level view. So these are going to be actual stories of things that have happened to people,
1:13.2	you know, I guess whether they wanted it to happen to them or not and basically what people's
1:18.3	opinions were on the ground floor of this issue. And so I was very excited to dig into this book.
1:22.9	I mean, it's a, it's a big book. It's about 500 pages. But when I started digging into this book,
1:27.6	Marvin Alaska, you did like the first four sections and then Leah did the last section,
1:31.8	which was basically covering 1995 through present day. But guys, even if you were well informed
1:37.2	on the issue of abortion, which I thought I was, you start reading about things that were happening
1:41.8	in the 1600s around the globe. And it's just like, wow, like we, we think things, you know,
1:47.2	turn around like crazy because, you know, America is not even recognizable from what it was even a
1:51.2	decade ago. But hundreds and hundreds of years ago, hundreds of years, you know, before America
1:56.4	was even a thing. Here's what was basically happening on this land mass that we currently
2:02.0	reside on or on other land masses around the globe. And it was a very, very interesting book. So I
