I don't know what it is, but in our culture, we've bought the lie that pornography doesn't hurt anybody.

That's just not true.

And I'm John Fuller in the studio with Dr. Greg Smalley and his wife, Aaron.

They lead the focus marriage team.

And Greg, what are the latest numbers about the pervasiveness of pornography use?

Yeah, the Barnag Group, great research team back in 2024, what they found is that about 78% of men,

and this is including about 75% of Christian men consumed pornography in some form each and every month.

Sadly, though, when you narrow down to younger men, so between the ages of 18 and 30, it jumped to 80% had viewed pornography in the last month. So it's still, sadly,

unfortunately, very pervasive within our culture, even the Christian culture. Even the church.

Well, it's important to talk openly and honestly about this lustful activity. And we're going to hear now from Sherry Mueller and Aaron Smalley.

They were guests on Focus on the Family with Jim Daly. And they told Jim about how sexual sin

can lead to feelings of shame. As I look at research and try to stay up on issues related to marriage,

which you and Greg are doing

all the time, Aaron. I had seen an article that talked about the voluminous increase in prescriptions

for 20-something men for, you know, ED, erectile dysfunction. It's at that time, and this is probably two years ago,

it was the fastest growing segment of prescriptions for Viagra and other erectile dysfunction

drugs, 20-something.

So going to the whole premise of this, that're so conditioned now, they cannot be aroused

in a normal relationship in a marriage, that they have to have some external stimulus or they

can't even have a normal function.
