0:44.0	Okay, so now for a topic of what we're talking about
0:47.0	of emotional intimacy and the effect it has on sexual intimacy.
0:51.0	What's the fact that emotional intimacy
0:53.0	has on sexual intimacy?
0:54.5	Well, sometimes I feel a little bit like in marriage,
0:57.0	we do what we sometimes do in psychology,
1:00.1	which is we make a kind of false split
1:02.4	between emotional and sexual intimacy,
1:04.0	like we do it between the mind and the body and psychology,
1:07.0	where I think it's much more integrated than it's kind of a false division a little bit.
1:14.0	But what I would say is, you know, it's in a long-term partnership,
1:22.0	it's difficult to want to have sex with someone you don't fundamentally like
1:27.7	trust and dare to be your full self with, which is very much linked to the quality of the relationship.
