Maybe as a parent you had at least one frustrating moment where you knew as a mom or a dad that you internally were about to say something but you stopped. You realized no I really shouldn't say anything

it happened to me when one of my daughters was driving and I was sitting in the car

and I it took everything in me not to say something about some of her driving skills.

I felt a little bit unsafe at one moment and then I just reminded myself, God is sovereign,

he's got this, I'm going to trust him and then I'll trust her driving

secondarily. I'm John Fuller along with Dr. Danny Huerta who heads up our

parenting team. That was a small thing but I mean criticizing my child for a driving I probably

shouldn't do that I'm glad I did not say anything because we got to some good

conversation later on there are moments where it's like the Holy Spirit is

warning us oh yeah wait wait wait wait

do you can you relate yeah I remember one of the the first moments I had as a dad with

with my daughter she I had these papers I was working on and she spilled milk all over the table.

I'm sure everyone's experienced that moment, right?

And I just went all over and I was feeling very reactive in the moment.

I was going to just say, why, you know, I already told her,

you need to sit still there, your milk.

And I looked over and she said, that wasn't supposed to happen.

And it's almost as that the Holy Spirit spoke through her to me.

And I really thought through, I have a lot of that

wasn't supposed to happen moments too.

Hmm.

So I said, hey, let's clean it up together.
