podcast, we have been talking about our call to serve and to seek justice. Yesterday, we

talked about how service and justice are like two feet that all Christians

are called to walk on.

We are called to seek justice for all while serving the individual in front of us.

Today we are going to look a little bit closer at what it means

to seek justice. First of all, when we seek for justice, we are seeking to change something

on the larger scale that is going to be affecting more people.

We can seek justice when we are trying to overturn or correct unjust laws that allow people to do things that are bad or don't allow people to do things that are good.

We also can seek for justice when we try to improve institutions.

By institutions, we mean big organizations. For example, we will be seeking for justice by improving a school

that is not offering a good education or by improving a factory that is not offering a good education, or by improving a factory that does not allow its employees healthy work environments.

We also would be seeking for justice if we tried to correct the way that certain family situations are dealt with.

Justice also includes seeking punishment for the guilty.

When we seek punishment for the guilty, we are reinforcing what is right and what is wrong,

Now, all of that is good, but the fundamental factor that goes into seeking justice is the idea of human dignity.
