62-year-old Glenn Rogers was dubbed the Casanova killer because he had a habit of meeting women in local bars, charming them and then getting them into his car before attacking them.

He was sentenced to death in 1997,

convicted of murdering 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribs, stabbing her to death and leaving her in a hotel

bathtub. Rogers received a second death sentence in California in 1999 for the murder of Sandra Gallagher.

Her badly burned corpse was found in her truck near Rogers' apartment. While in custody, he claimed to
