Our monthly question and answer episode is always one of our listener favorites.

And we've got some great questions to share with you. As you all probably know, we get lots of

questions and we do our best to call through and pick out the ones that we think are most helpful

to the most people. Samantha, that said, will you get us started, please?

I would be happy to. Our first question is pretty deep and involved. So we will do our best with

it. But I think it's a question that we've all struggled with throughout our spiritual journey.

This listener says, I am struggling with the differences and nuances between our free will and our

fate. As you've mentioned before, some events are part of our sole journey in purpose.

As I understand it, these things are predetermined before birth and are part of what we need to go

through to become who we need to be in this lifetime. But on the other hand, we do have free will.

Manifesting the power, positivity, the law of attraction teach that we create our own reality.

And I've seen so much out there talking about how our entire world is a product of what we have

thought and attracted. Both of these concepts make sense to me, but I'm having a hard time

understanding how both can be simultaneously true. If something really terrible happens,

did that person attract it? Were there negative thoughts and anxieties bringing forth an undesired

outcome? Or was that part of their sole plan? No matter how positive they were, was that just

going to happen anyways? I am all for taking responsibility and co-creating our realities, but

maybe not everything is in our control. There are also, of course, those times where an event

seems horrible, but ends up being for the best. So I guess my questions are, and my understanding

is concepts correctly. Is there ever a way to tell what is fate and what was attracted?
