What's up guys? Welcome back to the pod. Happy Friday. How are we all doing? I wish you could see the scene in my apartment right now. I'm sitting with Lauren and Miso and I was just watching the Netflix show, The Monster, the Ed Gein's story. And I'm so cozy. I'm eating gummy beers. I'm just having like a loungey day. Do you know what I mean?

0:22.0

I love like a cozy work from home day and now I'm recording the pod. So I'm going to do some

0:27.6

September faves. Last night I went to this Sirius XM panel thing for work and it was so cool. I mean,

0:36.8

sometimes I do like panels, but sometimes I'm just

0:40.5

kind of like, me, but this one was amazing. And I did just have such a big pinch me moment because

0:45.1

Andy was there and Jeff Lewis was there and Kelly Ripo was there. And I'm obviously small for I

0:52.0

compared to them. But the fact that my show is on Radio Andy and the fact that I get to like stand up on stage with those people never ceases to amaze me.

1:01.3

And I did have a moment.

1:03.2

I don't know if like when you guys were little, you envisioned what your life would be like.

1:07.1

But for me, I always related to like the montage at the beginning of the 90s movie where the woman was like doing some cool stuff and like she was like wearing high heels and like had cool friends and had a fancy job and like maybe she was single but she was like doing it for herself I always really related to that trope and when I was like putting on my gorgeous outfit and like getting my hair done

1:28.8

and going to this like work event and talking to all these important people like I just had this

1:32.8

moment of like immense pride and gratitude for like my life and my job and how far I've come and

1:41.1

it's kind of crazy when you think about it like I literally started as a

1:44.2

ticotker with you know just in my room and and now I'm like on stage with freaking Andy Cohen

1:51.1

because my show was on his channel it really like I just had a big moment I was just like oh my gosh

1:56.6

and then I was like going home and the driver and then one of my crushes like fac me. And I was like, I think I'm like exactly where I'm supposed to be, you know, which is a really, really nice feeling. And I've just been feeling so happy lately. Someone asked me that on Instagram the other day. Are you happy right now? And I have to say this has been one of the happiest years of my life, both like calendar-wise and if you go like birthday to birthday, I just think it's been a really happy year because I think that, you know, obviously throughout my time speaking to you guys, I've spoken to a lot about joy and the group article about how joy is more important than happiness. But if you

2:35.0

seek little joys, you can raise your waterline of happiness. To me, happiness has a lot to do with

2:42.2

like feeling like you're where you need to be and kind of feeling in the right place for you.

2:50.0

And not comparing yourself to other timelines and whatnot, but just feeling in the right place for you and not comparing yourself to other timelines and whatnot,

2:52.9

but just feeling in the right place to you. And that's kind of how I feel right now. So it's just

2:56.7

nice. And I appreciate all of you listeners for that. And I don't know, it was really cool. It made me

3:02.6

think a lot about the future of the show and what I want to do and how I want to grow it and kind of
