as always by my wonderful co-hostein. Minna, how are you today and how is your weekend? My weekend was good but now I'm

readjusting to Monday so yeah you know it's it's a Monday so we can only be so good, but, you know, maybe something good will happen

this week, and maybe we have some good headlines.

And indeed, my first story is pretty good, Since Vice President Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee in the

2024 election, there has been a noticeable surge in voter enthusiasm among black Americans,

particularly young voters and women.

Washington Post IPSO's poll shows that 69% of black Americans now say they are

absolutely certain to vote in November, up from 62% in April.

Harris's candidacy has resonated more strongly with black voters than

Biden's, with 82% of black registered voters expressing support for her compared to 74% for Biden earlier this year.
