intelligence show. Today I'm very happy to welcome as my guest Mr.

William Bill Evanina. Actually I'm fired up for this I got to be honest because Bill's a

friend of mine but let me read his bio first because it's so impressive.

He's an American national security

efficient who served as director of the United States National Counterintelligence

and Security Center. As a director of the NCSC, he was the head of National

Counterintelligence for the US Government.

Bill previously serves director of the office of the National Counter Intelligence Executive

before it transitioned into the NCSC.

Prior to his service in the CI role, was chief of the counter-espionage group for the Central Intelligence

Agency, actually another critical CI role, where he worked in my old outfit.

He gained his initial law enforcement experience as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A lot of experience in working violent crimes was on special weapons and tactics teams, members of a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force,

investigated a heck of a lot of critical

counterterrorism cases or terrorism cases made a shift to counterintelligence as I just

mentioned, 31 years of public service. That's a hell of a good run. Bill, thank you for your service.

You are one of the most respected former law enforcement intelligence officials in the nation.

Often called on for testimony in front of Congress, someone who I know, and I think both sides of the aisle know tells truth of power or otherwise known as you just call it like you see it and you don't give a shit which is something I love about you.
