Hi friends, I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

0:17.0

Each month here, on Let's Read the Gospels, we're reading all four books, so make sure you subscribe today and join us. It is not too late to jump in for September and finish the month with us.

0:27.0

We are reading the Gospels together and we say it's a lot. You don't have to be in the Gospels every day to be changed, but every day you're in the Gospels will change you.

0:35.0

So here's how this works. Usually we read three chapters a day and get through all four books in 30 days, but this month we're reading the Gospels chronologically, which means we're reading the stories in the order that they took place.

0:48.0

So it mixes together all four books a lot of days. We're reading in the new international version. So I'll share the references with you here at the beginning and you can find them in the show notes as well as in your Gospels guidebook or in the reading plan that you can get from Annie F. Downs.com slash Gospels.
