Hey, good morning. I'm playbook co-author Eugene Daniels. It is Wednesday, September 25th. Here is what's

driving the day. First up, Vice President Kamala Harris is delivering an economic speech in her

new favorite state of Pennsylvania. an event at the Economic Club

of Pittsburgh. Harris will give what her campaign says are her most extensive comments to date

on her economic policies. A senior campaign official says she'll be presenting herself and her vision

for the country as, quote, pragmatic, and will describe herself as, quote,

a capitalist who understands the limitations of government and has always sought to take good

ideas from wherever they come and harness the power of innovation. She'll also get into what

opportunity economy actually means, and apparently we'll make some news with some new proposals

on manufacturing. All of this is also a pretty clear attempt by Harris to fight back against

attacks from former President Donald Trump and Republicans that she's the San Francisco

liberal socialist. She's instead leaning into the more pragmatic, as they put it, aspects of her policy vision.

Also, late last night, the Department of Justice charged Ryan Ralph with attempting to assassinate former president Donald Trump.

The federal judge who presided over and eventually throughout the criminal classified

documents case in Florida against Donald Trump is also set to oversee this case. U.S. District

Judge Eileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, was randomly assigned the attempted assassination case

on Tuesday after a grand jury in Miami returned a five-count

indictment against Ralph in connection with the September 15th incident of the Trump International

Golf Club in Florida. The indictment charges Ralph with attempted assassination of a presidential

candidate, possessing a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime and assault on a

federal officer, as well as two charges he already faced, being a felon in possession of a firearm
