So, David, while I was sitting home, having a nice time, eating Indian food, eating Italian food,

you joined a whole crew of people and went down to a hotel near Washington, D.C., to go to the X conference.

Tell us about it. Well, Gene, we had Stephen Bassett on the Paracast talking about his desire to get the government

to come forward with the information that they supposedly have about the true nature of

UFOs and alien beings. And I'm not sure what year this was.

It was either the third or fourth year that the X-Conference was going on.

But it was an interesting event.

I got to see some old friends, got to make a few new friends,

and we all got to see some people make incredible fools of themselves.

Not everybody did.

There were some phenomenal speakers.

I should make a call

out now to people like Richard Dolan, who shows again that he is one of the leading lights

of serious research in the UFO field, in an absolute sense. We got to see Nick Pope speak,

and if there was ever a guy who was extremely compelling in terms of having real

hard information and presenting it in a serious but also entertaining fashion, that would be Mr.

Pope. And then there was everything else. And suffice it to say that as much as I appreciate what Steve Ambassador is doing, and I think

that he is to be applauded for his efforts, there were a few things he said that I really

strongly agree with.

It kind of just goes to show that it's going to be very difficult, certainly to have any aspect
