They're trying to impress the coach.

I know they didn't have all their, you know, the regulars out there,

but I didn't see anybody that looked like they're trying to fight to earn a position on that team.

Both teams, both teams had the same, they just looked glad.

Preseason hockey is wretched.

It's useless.

And I felt the tug to do it because the bruns of some of these young kids that are vying for real jobs.

But I had other things to watch.

I watched the football in the Milwaukee Brewers.

So I couldn't, I couldn't, with a clear conscience, invest too much time in that hockey game. What I did see, there was one guy, Anders Bjork, looked like he was, he belonged. The rest, I don't know. The rest, I don't know, but again, I don't watch enough of it to really give you a good gauge of it. It's hard. Maybe when you get closer to the season, you'll see it.

And this season, they had 11 kids show up to play.

And it's the same thing in Tennessee and Illinois, and the numbers are way down.
